I am looking at getting a new washer, just wanting everyone’s opinions on top loaders vs front loaders. What do you have and why do you like or dislike about it?

  • Front loaders are water and cost efficient.

  • I have a front loader. Yes, once you start the cycle you can’t add any more clothes. I love all the different wash cycles and temperature options. If someone is unable to bend down for whatever reason, I don’t think a front loader is suitable unless it’s mounted on the wall. Not sure if this can be done though.

  • I love front loaders as you can do a wash for under 30 mins, but the only problem is you cannot add clothes if the cycle has started like a top loader. But I would choose the faster wash front loader any day! Good Luck
