Last Friday was the last day of school for my daughter. I had to go to her school during the day as she had a walkathon on. We came home and I had a bag of popcorn for her as a little treat for completing the walkathon and that it was school holidays. There was a knock on the door and I assumed it was my daughters friend down the road. I opened the door and there was my mum and dad yelling surprise! We live in different states so I was definitely not expecting them! I was so stunned! My daughter was so surprised as well! I had tears in my eyes and I was poking them to see if they were real! My son who is 20mths wasn’t sure at first, but by the end of the week he knew who nana and pa were. He was running up to them and giving out big hugs. My daughter had the best start to her school holidays. I haven’t been this happy for awhile so I am so happy we all got this great surprise! Thanks mum and dad, time went by too quickly but it was worth every moment.
