This goes out to the starlight foundation:

I am forever grateful to this wonderful company. They have granted a wish to my daughter that has a degenerative condition (as does her sister). For many years our daughter has been obsessed with “slide downs” and would always like to play on them no matter how she was feeling. If she was feeling weak we were often called to help her.

When I met the WA rep she said she would work on getting a slide as her wish. I was expecting a small slide that would be fun but small. Well the delivery this week was something else. We are now the proud owners of a huge slide over 1m tall with a stair case leading up to it. The reveal that we did today brought a gasp from my special little girl and a “for me???” before she bolted with a huge grin on her face to have the first slide. I almost cried.

The starlight foundation have brought more joy to our lives than they will ever know possible and for that I will be forever grateful. If the starlight asks for donations, please dig deep and give a bit. It might seem pointless to some people, but when you see the joy wish granting brings to the face of a little child who has many struggles in life it is worth it. or when you see the smiles of the children in hospital when Captain Starlight comes to play. They do so much work and often go unrecognised.
