Hello!

There were the days when we couldn’t do anything other than watch a certain show on a certain night. You knew not to call your friends on that night because that show was on. There was Sex in the City, Grey’s Anatomy or even Packed to the Rafters.
I love good Aussie shows, but there’s also great U.S. shows that have been butchered by Ch7 (& the others) where they start a few episodes & then throw them to late night without telling anyone! I have missed so may episodes of so many shows, not even knowing they were on, because they had been moved to 11.30pm! Who in their right mind is awake & watching shows at that time?
The new seasons in the U.S. just started & I have given up on the Aussie channels giving me what I want when I want it. So I just found out I missed out on about 8 episodes of The Blacklist because I noticed an advert for season 3 & I thought ‘what happened to the reason of season 2?’
I’ve got 5 days to stream them before they will not be available any longer.

Scandal is the best show EVER & they have screwed it up by putting it on late at night & in bits & pieces. If your looking for a show to be addicted to- go & get Scandal Season 1 Episode 1 the first season is a little ok, nothing different here, but Season 2 just starts to blow your mind….. & just keep watching, I dare you!

  • netflix is good but gets boring as they get bogged down trying to bring your fresh, new content

  • I agree, nowhere have they all gone? We have all these ‘new’ TV channels, yet all we get one them is sport or repeats of shows. Why can’t they share the decent TV shows around so they can be on at a decent hour instead of repeating

  • I rarely watch TV these days because of this

  • I also love scandal. Viewing the US version of netflix allows you access to all these shows. As you say they are awful at providing the US shows regularly available to Australian viewers.

  • I hate TV at the moment, so sick of X Factor, Dance Shows, Singing shows, renovation or cooking.

  • I usually preplan and program at my fav shows to be taped on the recorder at the start of the week allowing for 30 mins after then planned finish time to make sure i dont chop off the last few minutes of the show.

  • Aargh. I’ll go check on The Blacklist now. Thanks.

  • I was thinking the other night it’s time to buy some dvd’s!

  • I don’t watch these shows and often they get moved because they are not getting the numbers. They have targets and if they do not reach the targets they get pulled from prime time and moved to a later time slot. I don’t watch much TV because of the poor quality of TV shows.

  • Totally agree, I’m so behind with Grey’s anatomy because it was televised late
I am looking forward to offspring returning

  • It can be quite frustrating! Thanks so much for sharing this!

  • Yes I agree! They either go t really late or cancel it a few episodes in it’s annoying!!

  • I agree. I get sick of the way they are rushing seasons two – putting 2 eps on some nights and not on others, short seasons or split seasons like they do with Grey’s Anatomy – drives me mad. I must say I’m loving Netflix and have binge watched a few series over Winter :)
