we are going on a holiday soon and we wanted to do it on a budget. We had a look online for hotels and after finding something that we liked, we got a price through an online booking site and rang the hotel up to confirm the price. the hotel owner said that they would do an even better deal than this discount site because they pay the site to advertise them and the more people booking direct, means the less that they have to pay the site in commissions–so they basically did us a favour and passed the savings on! i think that because this hotel is family run, they actually care about their customers a lot more. I find this is true for most family owned places. I was just really impressed that this guy would be so honest abut the situation and wasn’t trying to be greedy! so the rooms are $440 for 2 nights, the discount site got us to $400 and the extra savings we got from the owner has taken us to $360 for 2 nights. We are beyond happy with this. I am really glad that this owner has chosen his potential customer’s happiness over greed. They have ALL great reviews online and all the traveler’s pics look great. I am so happy that i would love to mention names but i never know if i should or not. This customer service has made my day and i hope our stay goes well.
