Hello Mums,

Firstly I’d like to,say I hope you are all having a happy Australia Day & spending time with your loved ones as I am. The real reason however, for this post is there is a link above, which is very personal for me & I would be ever so grateful if you could spare a few seconds & sign this petition. This is a rare disease called Moyamoya disease which affects approximately 1 in 1 million people, my man being one of them. This is a very rare disease which not only affects adults, but children as well, even more so. Moya moya means ” puff of smoke” in japanese and is where the main arteries in the brain gradually taper off causing strokes and eventually dementia or death. The only treatment is revascularisation and that isn’t a cure. This is a very scary time indeed as Jason keeps having TIA’s however, all we can do is wait. I really want to get the word out as the more we are informed the quicker they may find a cure, if there is one. Also, perhaps you or someone you know is fighting this too, I would be more than grateful to hear any stories. Thank you so very much & keep enjoying this sunny Australia Day…

Sandi xo
