We’ve done the banana trick before. We’ll probably try the food colouring/milk, orange and egg tricks, but not the Coke one. We don’t drink softdrink!

My husband just recently did one very similar to the the milk and food colouring one with students at school and they loved it. I have also done banana writing before it is nice sending a message to school. It is intriguing the fun science that can be done with everyday things.

Wow….some of them I knew and other I didn’t like the egg blowing one and the coke one. Science can be amazing!

You can buy….natural…food colourings in the supermarkets now and it is surprising what they can be used for, including hard boiled eggs for Easter. You can use it in homemade icecream, in icing, in milk and as a spotty decoration on top of icing, cream or cold custard,
