While the official data might not be in yet, BabyCenter have recently calculated the numbers from 340,000 new mums to come up with its own list of popular baby names in 2015. Sophia and Jackson both topped the list yet again.

  • I think most of these names are really nice. I’m glad parents are (for the most part) sticking to more traditional names.

  • Neither of my two are on the list, although my daughter has had a few girls in classes over the last 6yrs with the same name as hers. My son however has only had one child with his name but the spelling was different.

  • No, my daughter is not on the list.
    I’m kind of surprised that the name Georgia in not in the female list. I thought it was quite a common name some year ago.
    And is the name Caden really so common? I’ve never heard it before! :-)

  • Wow! I did not think My bubs name would be on the list but it is in the top 5. So much for choosing something that is not too common :(
    Choosing baby names is such a hard thing. Or at least I thought it was………
