Hello!

The Big W FREE kid’s book promotion is now in week 5 and we are loving it. The only problem is that our nearest Big W isn’t that close by, so we’ve only managed to get our hands on 3 out of the 5 books on offer so far.

So we were so excited to find out that we weren’t going to miss out on these awesome books, as soon we’ll be able to order the full set of 8 free books from Big W for only the post of postage.

Some eagle-eyed shoppers spotted the page on the Big W website allowing them to pre-order the complete set of the 8 Big W books for only 1 cent plus postage. What a bargain!

However, not surprisingly, the retailer must have been slammed with orders so it has redirected the original pre-order page to the generic kids’ books page. It may have also been an error that the books were made available for pre-order prior to the campaign ending in the 2nd week of November. Or they could have simply sold out (we hope not!!!).

The original page states that the Free Books For Kids Full Set is available for online purchase and home delivery only and not available in store. There is also a limit of 1 set per Customer.

It also mentions that the books will be released on 22 November 2019.

The link to buy the set of eight books is here. But as we mentioned, it doesn’t seem to be working at the moment. But we hope Big W will open up this opportunity soon, so we don’t miss out on completing our collection.

We have reached out to Big W for comment.

  • That’s such a great idea to get books to those who don’t live by a Big W. We live close by but my son is abit young for books so we leave them for others. He thinks they make better frizbees at the moment, we’ll give him another year :)
