Hello!

It’s the thing in Australia (and maybe elsewhere I don’t know) to reward you on your birthday.

Lots of places will send you a voucher for a free meal or discount to use that month…of course they want you to spend more, but lots of the time you don’t have to.

We’ve checked the below offers on their websites, there are heaps of others that we could see a birthday gift but no value attached.

So go online to check out other free birthday offers.

Here are 5 food related offers:

  1. Become a Club 31 member at Baskin Robbins and get a free ice cream on your birthday as well as a discounted birthday cake.
  2. Sign up to the San Churro’s newsletter and receive Churros for 2 for free on your birthday.
  3. Sign up to Vibe at Boost Juice and get a free boost on your birthday. You’ll also get a card to track your purchases and get every 11th boost juice free.
  4. Gloria Jeans will give you a free coffee on your birthday if you sign up to their loyalty club.
  5. Become a Sumo Society Follower at Sumo Salad and get a free salad on your birthday.

5 non-food related offers:

  1. Kikki-K will send you a $10 voucher with no minimum spend on your birthday to help you unlock your inner stationary Goddess or God.
  2. Join Captains Club at Captain Cook’s cruises and get a free birthday cruise.
  3. Join the Witchery Club and get a $20 voucher to spend on your birthday.
  4. Join the Sportscraft VIP club and get a $25 voucher on your birthday. You’ll also get 10% off full priced stock all year round.
  5. Join the Roller Club at AMF bowling and get 2 free games on your birthday.

  • Thanks for the tips. I’m already with a couple of these and from memory (my birthday’s in June), I think I’m with other businesses that do it too. I think it’s an extra special thing for loyalty programs to do and more of them should do it eg. hairdressers, restaurants, etc. It shows that they know you and really value you.

  • Yes it’s always nice to get spoiled :) I can’t remember exactly which ones I received on my birthday, but think it was from Priceline, Muffin-break, Millers & Strand-bags. And oh yes, also received a a Free Class or $20 off any yoga pass of your choice from Bikram Yoga. I didn’t know about Kikki-k either.

  • I heard IKEA and Salsa have also offered special for your birthday if you join them too. Has anyone tried them?

    • At IKEA you can claim a little cake in their cafe during your birthday month… probably not worth the drive out to IKEA (and the navigating through the maze of staged rooms) just to get the cake, but it’s a nice bonus if you’re already out there grabbing some flatpack.

  • A lot of the loyalty club gifts are only valid if you have shopped there so many times during the year and that’s fair too.

  • The cruise one sounds interesting? I haven’t ever been on one before :)

  • There are certainly so many ways to get lots of bargains out there and not just on your birthday, it is definitely worth looking around
