Adele spills the beans on why she has been away for so long

Grammy Award winning singer Adele has opened up on “Today” about her record-breaking career and why she has been away from her music for so long. We missed her!

During an appearance on Today, Adele spoke of her career and her number one priority, 3-year-old son Angelo.

“My son comes everywhere with me,” she explained. “He’s the first person I see in the morning and last person I see at night. … I make time for him, like I always have. That’s one of the reasons I’ve been away [from the music industry] for so long. My kid is more important. My kid comes first; my music comes second.”

“I feel like I knew what I was getting into this time,” she shared. “Not that I was expecting this kind of reaction, but because I’d experienced the success of 21, I was a little less frightened this time…So, I felt a bit more prepared for it.”

“Also, I’ve got a kid which is a very grounding thing, as I’m sure any parent will know,” she said.

I am so glad she is back! Totally in love with her new album.

i am so happy that she is back,unlike a lot of other singers who have so much success with their first album and don’t know how to handle fame,and they burn out,wreck their lives etc.it says a lot about her the way she has handled things,and she does have the talent to back it all up,me?? i can’t sing to save myself,so i’ll just continue to enjoy the music!!
