A pink gin that tastes like marshmallows and candy floss. Yes, please! Aldi has announced that it will be launching this fantasy alcoholic beverage in its stores this week.

This pink-hued liqueur, which shimmers and glimmers when shaken, just yells out summer and is perfect for those who like their drinks on the sweeter side.

The gin is produced by The Infusionist Small Batch, carries a 20 per cent Alcohol By Volume (ABV) content and costs $18. (In comparison, Gordon’s Pink Gin goes for around $45 a bottle).

Fruity Tutti Drinks With A Kick

Aldi is also expected to expand their alcohol offering to include a Tutti Frutti gin liqueur, Passionfruit, Apricot and Coconut Gin, Strawberry and Cream Liqueur and Spiced Rhubarb Rum Liqueur.

Speaking about the new launch, Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, said:
“This innovative new addition to our gin range reflects our commitment to ensuring our customers enjoy the best quality products, without breaking the bank.”

This mystical drink is first being launched in the UK store and we can only hope that Australia will follow soon.

  • I wonder who supplies Aldi with this product. They wouldn’t be making it themselves – that same as groceries and other supermarkets sell with their own labelling on them
