Stunning video captures twin born en-caul.

The video shared to Facebook is captioned, “And look what I had the honour of filming in my dear Santa House Mercy.. Childbirth Empelicado 2: Twin!!! It was magic. . Exciting for all team!!! We were waiting to stabilize the first baby and the second came softly, in fact, look there that beautiful!!!
Historic moment! !!!”

Doctors can be seen tickling bubs little hands and feet while he/she swims around unknowingly.

Babies being born still encased within the entire amniotic sac, known as an en-caul birth, are rare. It generally occurs in fewer than one in 80,000 cases.

The video seen below, has been viewed over 5 million times in less than 24hrs.

So beautiful to watch.

  • Wow, amazing pictures. And to think it only happens for 1 birth in 80 000 makes it even more amazing. Great pics to share with kids as they grow up

  • Given the fact that the cord appears as though it may be around the baby’s head it was a good thing that it was a c-section. If necessary they could cut the cord then cut it at the correct place afterwards if necessary. Also the baby wasn’t able to put his legs down to slide out as normal. It fascinated me they way the baby’s hands and feet could be tickled. It noticed hand movement which may/may not have been a reaction to that.
