Hello!

Again, another easy to do hair style which sounds more complicated than it is. Can you plait? You can do this hair style. If you're unsure, I suggest looking for a tutorial on youTube which shows you step by step. This took me 3 minutes to do. Super easy.

Material

  • 3 elastic bands
  • 3 bobby pins

Method

  1. Section your child's hair into 3 plaits - one on each side and one in the middle of their head.
  2. Plait loosely and secure with an elastic for each plait.
  3. Tease out each plait - the messier the better.
  4. Take the first plait and curl it around itself to form a circle. Secure with a bobby pin. Do this for the remaining 2 plaits.

Notes

If your child has thin hair like mine, try taking up more hair in the plaits to make them fuller. If your child has thick hair, consider thinner plaits as heavy hair may pull out the flower crown.

  • Oh dear. I think I’d end up causing lots of knots with this one. Hope others have better luck. Thanks for the design.

    • If your child has thick hair you wouldn’t need to tease out the plaits, so no knots.

  • If only I could do any sort of braids, or pretty hairstyles. My daughter doesn’t like real girly things anyway. Although it would be nice to learn and try this hairstyle.
