Ok so slime is still all the rage in my house anyway with my eldest daughter. She is always coming up with the best slime recipes but I challenged her the other day to come up with how to make slime without glue or borax and she came up with a great idea that I thought I would share with you all.

Material

  • 1 Bottle of handwash (foaming ones are better)
  • 1 Packet of Bluetac
  • 1 Bowl

Method

  1. It’s pretty straight forward - Knead together blue tac and handwash
adding 1/2-1 squirt at a time
  2. knead together until desired texture is achieved (this can take some time)
  3. add small amounts of soap at a time to make it smoother

Notes

Fun little activity to do on the holidays with your little ones. Also if you have your own home day care this is a great method for making slime.

  • Great to be able to have a non toxic alter6

    Reply

  • It is still toxic, what do you think blu tak is made from? and anything that foams also has toxic chemicals, this is really a false headline. Only safe play dough is the one you make with flour and water!
