Make meal times fun by getting the kids to make their own placemats.

Material

  • 2 pieces of decorated paper
  • 2 laminator sheet pockets
  • 1 laminator

Method

  1. Have your child decorate the paper as they like.
  2. Seal in a laminator pocket and laminate.

Notes

You can double the fun by making a second placemat picture and laminating them back to back to create a front and a back picture.

  • I’ve made DIY placemats that we bring out Christmas Day. They always get a laugh. Each has the family member’s name and a funny/old photo. They’re about 10 years old now, so everyone’s screaming for an update. Personally, I love them!!
