Easy fun painting with sparkling crystal effects.

Material

  • 6 Tbsps Epsom Salt
  • 1 Cup Water
  • Food Colouring
  • 6 Small Bowls

Method

  1. Add a tablespoon of Epsom Salt to each small Bowl.
  2. Add drops of food colouring to each bowl.
  3. Then add a bit of water to each bowl, mix together which should turn into a grainy texture.
  4. Once you start painting the epsom salt creates a sparking effect which crystalises when drying.

  • Thank you for sharing this! I have some epsom salt that’s a bit past it’s best and probably not as good for what it’s designed for. Glad that I’ve got a way to stop it going to waste!
