Great painting activity with the kids to display in your home

Material

  • 1 canvas (desired size)
  • 1 bottle black paint
  • 1 paint brush
  • 1 bottle of each colour of paint you wish to make the leaves

Method

  1. Paint a tree on canvas in the black paint as illustrated in the photo.
  2. Use the coloured paint and your finger to finger print all the leaves on. you can do as few or as many as you like to create your masterpiece.
  3. Leave to try and hang on your wall.

Notes

We used blue, red, pink, purple, green and yellow paint for our fingerprint leaves. It really does look beautiful when it is completed.

  • My daughter in law had one of these at her baby shower. She got each guest to place a fingerprint leaf on the tree with their name. It’s now framed and sits in my grandsons bedroom
