Let me take a selfie!
Fantastic tips to take a good selfie:
A “selfie” is a term used when you have taken a photograph of yourself, typically using a smartphone.
Selfies have become increasingly popular, and if you’re never satisfied with photos that other people take, here are some tips on how to take a decent selfie!
Use a selfie stick - The selfie stick is the new shameless accessory! “Selfie sticks” are a claw-like, expanding wand that’ s been modified to hold a smartphone at the end.
The benefits of a selfie stick are: variation on angles, more opportunities to fit people into your photos, and did we mention, a great travel accessory?
Forget having to ask strangers to take pictures for you… bring on the selfie stick!
Lighten up – When taking a selfie or any photo, you need good lighting! Don’t choose lighting that is too harsh or too dark.
Background check - The last thing you want is a selfie with a dirty bedroom in the background! A good, clear background such as solid coloured walls always works best
Edit – There’s nothing wrong with editing your selfies! Use some of the photo editing apps we have suggested, and have fun creating your images!
Take a screen shot!
Screenshots are so useful, allowing you to save snippets of anything on your smartphone or tablet screen.
We find it extremely helpful to take screenshots of things like: Online booking confirmations, websites, upcoming sales and more!
How to…
On both Apple and Android devices:
Hold the ON/OFF button and the POWER button at the same time.
You should hear a camera sound and a flash on the screen.
The screen shot will be saved to your “Photos”.
Did you just take a screenshot? You’ll find yourself using this handy tip a lot!
