Hello!

Oh Wow! We’ve just heard that the UniCornetto is actually a real thing!

We seriously just can’t get enough of unicorns! We want to drink them (that announcement about Aldi’s Unicorn Gin went crazy!) and of course, we want to eat them. Well, no, we don’t really want to eat an actual unicorn (unless we want a lynch mob on our hands) but we are just crazy about food that is unicorn-inspired.

The latest in a long trend of Unicorn themed treats is Cornetto’s latest treat. The UniCornetto is a pastelly pink, purple and blue swirly magical confection.

It tastes like cotton candy and marshmallow and has a belly of strawberry sauce. The mystical ice-cream whirls are topped with multi-coloured crispy chocolate balls and of course, the cone is pink.

And as with all the other Cornetto ice-cream, there is a signature surprise chunk of chocolate at the tip of the waffle cone.

“We’re thrilled to be giving our customers a taste of magic with this exciting new member of the Cornetto family,” Streets brand manager, Samantha Jarmul said.

“The UniCornetto was created to bring a unique dessert experience to teens and families alike and is too majestic not to be shared with friends.”

Where Can You Get One?

Streets are being a bit coy with the release of UniCornetto. They’re hiding the ice-creams in the freezer at convenience stores and petrol stations so you’ll need to go out and look for them.

When you do find one (and they’re quite elusive), you can have own for your own to eat for $4.

  • I would be worried about the ingredients, artificial colouring and flavouring can send kids off the rails.
