Couple gives their family the ultimate surprise

When this couple found out they were having twins, they decided to keep the news to themselves.

After the birth, they asked their family members to guess whether they had a boy or a girl, giving them the ultimate surprise.

We had a ‘reveal’ dinner. Got the family over and for dessert we made a cake with pink icing in the middle, revealing we were having a GIRL!

I love how everyone walks in and registers a baby and then they stop and think its some sort of hoax…..I dont know if i could have kept that secret….i would have wanted to tell everyone

That bought tears to my eyes & a lump to my throat. How they kept having twins a secret is mind blowing. I remember my husband & I waiting to find out the sexes of our children until they were born. It’s funny because with my 2nd pregnancy our son was telling everyone his baby sister was in mummy (we didn’t think that was right as there have been no girls for 4 generations in hubby’s family) but …. Matthew was right he got his baby sister. When my in laws 1st visited they tipped a bag full of tiny pink clothes on my hospital bed. Mother in law said father in law went crazy in Kmart picking out little pink dresses etc. They were so excited to finally get a granddaughter (after 5 grandsons) and Sophie is also the only granddaughter on my side of the family with 4 grandsons for my parents.

That is amazing how everyone was so surprised. How they managed to keep it all a secret and perfectly video it is just mind blowing and a wonderful keepsake of family and friends at this time.
