We all love a family holiday! Even better if we know that the kids are going to have an awesome time and remember it forever!

Dubai truly is a destination your children will never forget … with the focus firmly on families, Dubai offers a host of activities to keep the kids (big and small) busy every day of their stay. Importantly too, they don’t need to cost the earth; this list has something for every budget.

Witness a Miracle at THE MIRACLE GARDEN.

Kids will love exploring the mini town made out of flowers – complete with a scaled-down Burj Khalifa.

And, when you’ve finished there, venture into the Dubai Butterfly Garden which is right next door to immerse yourself in a land where hundreds of colourful butterflies flutter within nine domes.

Weighing in at 500kg and measuring over five metres long, King Croc is just one of the mighty highlights of Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo at The Dubai Mall. Home to over 33,000 aquatic animals, including 400 sharks and rays and the largest collection of Sand Tiger Sharks in the world, step aboard a glass-bottomed boat to see ‘what lies beneath’, then tour the Zoo to see giant squid, bats, otters and the whole menagerie of ocean and rainforest creatures.

Find yourself in the Lost Chambers

Based on The Lost City of Atlantis, the Underwater Tunnels that weave beneath the Atlantis The Palm resort are alive with creatures from the deep. Dance with dolphins at The Dubai Dolphinarium

The Dubai Dolphinarium puts on a show that is fun for every member of the family. Playful dolphins and seals are the stars of the show. Watch them perform acrobatics, juggle, dance, jump through hoops and even paint.

  • Certainly looks like an amazing place to visit

  • Why the hard sell on Dubai? Why not promote local Australian places to holiday?

  • The miracle garden looks absolutely incredible! I’d love to take the family there

  • I had a different impression of Dubai. Looks really good. Would love to visit one day.

  • Hubby really wants to go but I’m not sure if it’s somewhere I’m willing to go. You have to be so careful with public displays of affection etc

  • I would love to go to the lost city, and I think my kids would love it too

  • the gardens look amazing. what will they come up with next!?

  • Looks truly magical, so much to see and do.

  • This may not be the country involved but I know there is one over that direction that will not allow you to take some prescribed medications into the country.
E.g. yopu can’t take blood pressure tablets in but they will fill prescriptions for you (at your cost). Wherever you are travelling I strongly suggest you make enquiries before you leave. Always carry current prescriptions with you.

  • Must be an amazing place to go, but not the number one on my list of holiday destinations..

  • It looks good the way it’s portrayed in the ad for Dubai – but I wouldn’t ever go there.

  • Look at the dolphin’s teeth. Imagine what a shark’s teeth look like. The parrots are so bright and colourful. I wonder how much of a difference there is in their native surrounds to where they are kept.

  • I wish to go to Dubai one day, It’s my biggest dream. ❤️

  • So wealthy and so much to see and do, looks like an amazing place to go !

  • These attractions are unbelievably awesome. I’d love to go there one day.
