You will need:

  • A bowl of water
  • head band to tie back hair
  • paint brushes
  • Pink white and black face paint
  • a willing victim to paint
  • optional bunny ears and cotton wool tail!
  • cotton wool buds

How to face paint the bunny:

  1. Clean your models face and tie back hair with a head band
  2. Start off by wetting your brush and getting some pink on it
  3. Paint on 2 circles on the lower cheeks
  4. a pink oval across the nose
  5. paint in the lips
  6. add pink shadow to the eyelids
  7. Now clean off the brush and get ready to add in the white
  8. Starting with the forehead paint in fur swoops above the eyebrows and across the forehead as shown in the pic above
  9. Now add white across the nose chin and for whiskers on top of the pink cheeks
  10. Finally use a clean brush to apply the black
  11. Highlight your fur swoops with black as pictures
  12. add in whiskers
  13. use the cotton wool buds to add in the dots on the whiskers as pictured
  14. Now get the bunny ears (and tail if you have one) and your bunny is ready!

  • When my eldest 2 were little I did face paints all the time. The kids from the neighbours and their friends would come too and we would have face paint parties several times a week :) It’s fun.
