The 40-year-old actress announced her pregnancy last year, surprising waiting photographers when she revealed her baby bump at a GQ event in November.
And from what we’ve heard today, Asher and her husband of 11 months, Vincent Fantauzzo, have welcomed their first child together.
At this stage, there is no word on whether the new arrival is a boy or a girl, but we couldn’t be happier for the couple.
Last year, the Gold Logie winner revealed that she was craving both pistachios and cheese and that even though she spent most of 2013 wearing a prosthetic belly for her role of Nina Proudman on Offspring “I can’t take this one off at the end of the day but I don’t want to.”
Fantauzzo, who is also dad to four-year-old Luca, joked that he had already made a few “midnight runs” to the shops for his pregnant wife.
The couple met in 2012 and married in a secret ceremony in Fiji. Speaking at last year’s Logies, the star spoke opened up about her family, saying “As if life couldn’t get any sweeter thanks to the two guys in my life — Vincent and Luca … oh how lucky I am.”
