First pictures of Kate Ritchie's daughter Mae!

The gorgeous Kate Ritchie has shown off her daughter for the first time.

The former Home & Away star has graced the cover of Who magazine with husband Stuart Webb and her adorable bub, Mae.

The actress spoke to the magazine about how proud she is of 5-week-old Mae, saying “She’s just so beautiful!”

When the couple brought their newborn home for the first time, the Nova presenter revealed “There were a few tears. I think I sobbed for a week, in a good way.”

“I was so overwhelmed by how emotional and amazing it was,” Kate added.

The couple have been inundated with gift since Mae’s arrival on August 17, with Kate posting on Instagram earlier in the week:

“How long can one leave it before packing all the pretty things away? #luckygirl #longlistofthankyous #morethanababyshower”

The star also shared a sneak peek inside little Mae’s room, posting:

“I feel excited that after hibernating at home with our daughter Mae these past weeks, we will introduce her to you tomorrow x”

She is just adorable and I’d give a first time mum my time to help with housework, cooking meals, baby sitting or looking after bub while she gets shower, shopping done.

I would give her time to look after herself. To be there to care for her baby so that she can have a shower that’s longer than two minutes, to have a well needed rest.

Cooked meals, help with the washing, ironing etc. So much to do with a little one especially if things are not going smoothly.

A homecooked meal, something that can be reheated in the oven for those nights when you are so exhausted and need to eat. Something nutritious, useful even for one meal, makes all the difference.

I remember all the little things we were given before our first child was born and I also took a photo of it all. Although we had a lot of second hand things just the cute little socks, cute jumpsuits and little teddies were super sweet.
