I always loved seeing my kids faces when they would try anything new but the seriously yummy stuff was always magic.

Our youngest from about 18 months old has liked sucking or chewing on ice. On the rare occasion we eat out she always wanted the ice out of our cool drinks. The barman realised what was happening and gave us a small class of ice cubes. Only problem is we later found it chewing on ice can damage teeth too easily so we don’t encourage it now.

What a pity we continue to give ice cream to these children who obviously didn’t like it at first. Think how well their systems will react to too much sugar and cold in the future. Personally I can’t stand ice-cream – too cold and too sweet.

Oh my! Some of those kids are so hilarious.
I don’t have much to share because my daughter didn’t want to try an ice cream till she was 7 years old. I don’t know why because we all love ice cream. She just said it was too cold and didn’t inspire her!! Then one day I was eating one Cornetto and she asked me if she could try it. Of course I let her try. And then I went to buy another Cornetto for me because she was eating it all!
