i dont think any of those comments were shaming at all. I think they were trying to be informative and in a respectful way.

for once it seems like these comments are trying to be helpful – not shaming. i also thought that you shouldn’t put a baby that young in a pouch facing outwards.

It’s helpful advice, not shaming. He probably won’t read the comments but if it helps just one other person learn how to babywear safely then it’s worth it.

I just like seeing the softer side of this man and his bub is adorable.

What I noticed in one photo is that the baby’s head is exposed to the sun. Always a risk of sunburn for such delicate skin. Initially I didn’t even take notice of who the personality is

For heavens sake people – he has four other children – none have died – leave him alone.

At least the commenters were reasonably polite.

Although I agree that bubs at this age should face in, it’s not my child! I’m sure they’re aware of baby issues having had 4 others!

People need to give less unsolicited advice and bite their tongues.

Cute photo. I don’t feel the need to comment any further and dissect the image.

The photo is clearly for a photograph. On the second photo he has the baby turned around. Towards him . People need to get a grip, and worry about more important things. It’s his fifth child!!

  I had the same thought – it was for a photo op.

It’s not shaming. If anything, it is being helpful.

I have to agree with what they’re saying. They’re not being nasty, just pointing out the correct way to use it. I don’t see it as shaming like other celebs get.

It must be hard on people like him, everyone has something to say about how they are living their lives.

Educating is not the same as shaming.

So young the baby should be facing inside indeed.
That baby is so cute. And it looks like he has his father’s eyes.

I’m not sure offering advice via Instagram to a guy like Gordon Ramsay is really ever going to read by him, so sort of wasting your breath!

That last photo “having dinner with mum and dad” the baby is really cute!
