Beautiful announcements. We weren’t that creative. We now have our precious girl who is nearly 2 weeks old. It has all been challenging but worth it all.

It is very exciting when we announce that we are having a baby. We had a lovely photo of our little daughter in a park holding a sign saying that she is a big sister to be. I love the photo!

These are all very cute and clever. Back when I was pregnant, social media was very new, and I wasn’t in that space. We had been trying for 4 years, more than half of that via IVF, so we just wanted to tell people … and quickly. So phone calls to those most important from another state, then a group get together when we returned to our home for the most most important. My most clever, I guess was when I turned up to my best friend’s place with the 6-week ultrasound pic.

Those are each on it’s own lovely announcements. To be honest I can hardly remember how we announced our pregnancies. I think we wrote an email to our families as we live in different countries.

People sure have great imaginations. It isn’t that long ago that decorated cakes became the best announcement.

There all soo gorgeous. My belly popping out was my announcement. With the first I could hide it and we had special dinner with close family and friends and made the announcement but the three after I couldn’t hide it and everyone know instantly.
