Is your linen cupboard filled with messy fitted sheets like mine?

Learn how to fold a fitted sheet perfectly and make some space in your linen cupboard today.

Look at the difference!

Step 1: Hold two corners of your sheet

Step 2: Fold one corner into the other

Step 3 and 4: Fold 3rd and 4th corners, one at a time, up to the join

Step 5: Lay sheet down on table

Step 6: Fold sheet width ways into thirds (quarters if it’s a queen or king sized sheet)

Step 7: Fold length ways into thirds (or quarters)

You’re done!

  • I usually roll it up into a ball, peg it as hard as I can into the linen press and slam the door shut before it escapes

  • Very similar to how I fold, I try to turn it into a square then roll it up together

  • I recently bought some new fitted sheets which only had elastic at the ends. I was surprised but they stay firn on the beds the same as those I have with elastic around the edge of the whole sheet.
    They dry quicker too.
