Fairy houses are magical places and you and the kids can make your own in your backyard.

What you’ll need:

Wooden bird house (sold in the craft sections of hardware and craft stores)
Rocks, moss, sticks, flowers etc (whatever you’d like to decorate your house with)
Waterproof glue

Method:

Decorate and glue on your design for your fairy house.
Leave to dry completely.
Choose a spot in the garden and plant a cute fairy garden around it if you want you.

These are so very cute and would make magical gifts too.

I’ll be doing this for my granddaughter – she loves the idea of fairies at the bottom of the garden!

A work colleague planted a fairy garden but she never thought of a fairy house.
I would recommend painting the timber fairy house with sealant before decorating. The children weill be very disppointed if it didn’t last very long.
