I don’t own a tiered cupcake stand as I have nowhere to store it and I would barely use it….. But I’ve discovered you can easily make your own disposable one in minutes for your party and they look great.

How to make your own disposable tiered serving tray

What you’ll need:

  • 2 disposable cups
  • 3 disposable plates
  • Super glue

  1. Glue a disposable cup to the middle of a disposable plate.
  2. Place glue on rim of cup and stick another plate on top.
  3. Repeat to make another layer if you need and leave to dry.
  4. Get baking and then display the cakes or biscuits on your stand.

I love this idea; it’s fast, easy and will look great for parties.

  • Now that is very cute and certainly worth remembering.

  • Great idea! You would need to be careful though as disposable plates can be very flimsy. Don’t want a collapse of cakes

  • Perfect idea! So easy to clean too :P

  • Such a great way of doing this and you have given me a extra idea for the up coming birthday

  • That is genius, very clever and creative! (-:

  • Well, this is just brilliant and I absolutely love it. Who would have thought!? And I agree, I don’t have anywhere to store one so don’t own one. I’ll definitely be using this idea for many things – not just cakes!

  • What a fantastic idea. So easy to store in the cupboard until you needed one.

  • Nice way to involve the kids for their own birthday party and let them make this themselves.

  • Nice idea my kids love cake so much

  • I love the idea. But wouldn’t easily tip over? As it seems a bit light weight. I would be inclined to place weights of some kind so it would sit better

  • Perfect for a children’s party when things can often be broken.

  • Nice idea for kids to make for their iwn party !

  • An alternative is to use empty washed aluminium food cans wrapped with plain or patterned paper.

  • I could definitely use one of these brilliant creations at my next party; thanks for sharing!.

  • That’s so cute. I don’t have a cupcake stand
