Ah, LEGO, you’ve done it again. The tiny brick juggernaut is releasing a Home Alone set complete with Kevin figurine, and while it’s not exactly cheap: LEGO, keep the change, ya filthy animal.

The new LEGO Ideas Home Alone set is 3,955 pieces of pure fun. It’s an incredibly detailed LEGO recreation of the McCallister family home, featuring iconic moments of mayhem. The set is based on a design by 28-year-old Alex Storozhuk from Ukraine, submitted to the LEGO ideas platform. It gives anyone a chance to dream up a LEGO set, that may just be put into production.

With its instantly recognisable exterior, the completed set tells the story of Kevin and the antics of bumbling burglars Harry and Marv. The house opens to reveal rooms stuffed full of moments from the movie. From the aftershave lotion to Buzz’s pet tarantula, the fireplace, Christmas tree and record player. The set also comes with the robbers’ van and the treehouse with zipline.

The set also includes LEGO minifigs of Kevin, Harry, Marv, old man Marley and Kevin’s mum Kate. The incredible LEGO Home Alone set is due for release on November 1, 2021, with a price tag of $399.99.

  • Love the idea, but would imagine $400 would be a bit much for many to spend on a toy. Good luck with it, Lego. Those who do buy it will have hours of fun building it I would imagine.
