Leighton Meester & Adam Brody have welcomed their first child together

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester has given birth to her first child with husband Adam Brody.

The couple, who wed in February 2014, welcomed a baby girl on August 4 at Cedars Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.

The birth certificate was obatined by TMZ and reveals that Leighton and Adam have named their new bub Arlo Day Brody.

The pair met on the set of The Oranges, with Adam has joked in the past that he wants lots of kids with his gorgeous wife.

“I say 12,” he laughed to a fan. “And I decide.”

We know you will join us in congratulating Leighton and Adam at this very exciting time.
