  It looks so easy when someone else does it but I am like you. It would still be a nightmare.

I really need to try this. Have tried before but was a disaster lol

I’ve started doing it like this and its so much easier to change.

This is a brilliant life hack. I have used it a few times but always have to stop and think to get it right! Certainly makes a tricky job so much easier!

I always love life hack videos. I liked one I seen that made storing a whole doona cover set in a pillow very convenient to see and stack in your laundry cupboard.

Doesn’t matter how many times someone shows me this I can just never do it by myself next time I need to.

Putting on a doona cover is an unfortunate part of my life. I always make sure my husband helps me – one side each. Less stressful. You would laugh watching me doing it on my own – lots of huffing, puffing and swearing involved!!

This is such a great hack!!! I’ve always struggled with changing the Fiona cover, I can’t wait to try this.

I’m definitely going to try this! It’s such a pain trying to change the doona cover by myself.

Very clever. I’m trying this next time!

A way I like to attach the doona to it’s cover is:
turn cover inside out & stitch a small piece of tape into each corner seam of doona cover, and a corresponding piece of tape to each corner of doona, and tie, thus fastening doona & cover together therefore , making the doona unable to move within; lastly turn the cover through, and voila! all done

I’ve tried this and found it takes too much time, I prefer the ordinary way

Clever idea – I will try it. Must admit I usually just get the two top corners of my doona into the doona cover, and attach a peg to each corner and the middle [3 pegs], this keeps the top in place while I shake the sides down the doona and then flip it on to the bed. At least there is no climbing all over the bed this way.

I hate changing the doona covers so much in our house that we make it a two-person job. My hubby and I change them together , one side each. I love it. We chat, we laugh, and we get it done quickly without me screaming the house down!!
