A police manhunt has seen a man charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl inside a Melbourne cinema.
The incident occurred at the Glen Waverley cinema yesterday. Police allege the girl was watching a movie when the man sat down next to her, put his coat between them, then reached under the coat and assaulted her.
The girl’s mother confronted him and the man fled the scene.
The 23-year-old man is due to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on April 29.
