Hehe, an alien ! Truth is some babies look rather wrinkled, puffed up and red.

I wish these males could somehow experience something similar to birth. Now that would be funny!

I love it. What a classic! I watched a lot of shows on child birth before I gave birth to my son and it is quite confronting. My husband was hopeless he was so stunned through 12 hours of labour, then major complications….he never said a word or comforted me. I just he was in some sort of shock. lol.

yeah my hubby did watch it….all three times…the first one was a big surprise to him though lol

  it is funny to see these birth reaction vids on youtube. some males really over-react and spew…maybe girls are the tougher gender lol

I had a singleton and then twins, all naturally. My partner was there both times, but he still hasn’t ‘seen’ a baby being born! He flatly refused to look “down there”!!

We had emergency csection for the twins, hubby was there in the room holding my hand through it all.

Interesting to see their reactions! I have seen videos of both genders having the same reaction.

After watching the video at antenatal class, my farmer husband compared it to watching a cow giving birth.

My husband was there for all three of my childrens birth which were the only times he had ever seen this although he tells me it was nothing just like when he has delivered calves before ( nice hah)

I don’t think there is anything like the real thing. Watching prenatal videos just doesn’t cut it until you’re watching a person you’re intimate with going through labour. My husband was amazing – so supportive and helpful from the time I was induced, during and after the birth.

I thought that everyone watches the birthing video in health class as a teenager at school.

Either way, something men should be aware of, especially as movies & tv shows don’t portray it realistically.
