Here is a quick and easy makeup routine for even the most time poor mum.

Follow these easy steps and watch the video for a step-by-step guide.

  1. Start with a primer or moisturiser as your base. One that fills out wrinkles and lines would be perfect. I used the Elf mineral primer.
  2. Use a BB cream for a light and even coverage. Apply with a foundation brush or sponge. Loreal skin perfection in fair is a great colour.
  3. Use a concealer for any under eye bags, circles, or blemishes. Blend with a small brush or foundation brush.
  4. Use a mineral foundation or a powder to set makeup for the day. I use Inika or Nude by nature.
  5. Apply a thin coat of mascara if you want to. I just recently got eyelash extensions and I find them to be great when you’re on a busy Mum time schedule.

  • I love my BB cream with SPF 50 great when I am outside for a luncheon or out the back gardening. I like a light covering and it helps to give me a great look all day long.

  • I’ve been using a BB cream as it reduces my need for touch ups through the day, and less concealer. Still looking for that one stop lipstick tho. :)

  • Great tips. I’ve been thinking of using a BB cream instead of foundation for every day use. Might have to give it a try.
