Soft, fluffy and nice smell come out from this chiffon cake.


Ingredients (makes 1 Chiffon cake)

  • 5 Egg yolks
  • 45 gr caster sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 80 ml Corn oil
  • 50 ml Fresh Milk
  • 30 ml Water
  • 90 gr Cake Flour
  • 30 gr Black Sesame Powder
  • 5 Egg Whites
  • 100 gr Sugar
  • 10 gr Corn Flour

Method

  1. Cream egg yolks, caster sugar and salt until change yellow colour. Add in corn oil first then add in milk and water, mix well.
  2. Fold in cake flour and black sesame powder , mix well and set aside.
  3. Beat egg whites in a clean large bowl until soft foam. Gradually add in sugar and finally add in corn flour. Mix well.
  4. Gently fold in the balance egg whites mixture into the egg yolk mixture,until well combined. Bake at preheated oven at 170c for 45 minutes. Up side down the pan and wait till completely cool, then only unmould it.
