Ingredients (makes 12 )

  • 175g mixed nut/seed spread
  • 10 dates
  • 1/2 cup dried blueberries
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup pepitas
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • Coconut for rolling

  1. Place all ingredients (excluding coconut) in a food processor and blend to combine.
  2. Using a tablespoon, roll into balls.
  3. Roll in coconut then place in the fridge for up to an hour to firm up.

  • Seems to be quite a lot of sugar though (honey, dates and fruit) …but they do look delicious.

  • I have never used dried blueberries I am missing out big time thanks for sharing

  • I have just looked up Susie and am very interested in her program. This sounds like something I could need. But I’m poor so probably not going to happen.

  • If it has the word bliss in it, I want to try it! These look amazing. Yum!

  • Maybe could use dried cranberries instead?? I love cranberries, I think I may try it with them.

  • Very good!! Dried blueberries are not that easy to find though.

    • Health food stores have them most of the time and also dried cranberries without sugar (often fruit juice sweetened).
I like the recipe, but personally I would leave the honey out as it has already a high sugar content of the dried fruit.

  • Sounds really simple – thanks for sharing.

  • Love this recipe but unable to get most of these ingredients where I live

  • I’m unsure about some of the ingredients, but I love a good ‘ball’ recipe.

  • Nice one !
A pity it’s hard to find unsweetened or fruitjuice sweetened cranberries in the supermarkets (they all have sugar). Have to order some from the online health food store.

  • these sound really delicious and interesting. Good for a healthy lunch box treat. (for me)

  • These sound sweet and tasty, mmm….

  • Yummy, My kids would even like this recipe ;-)
