I love my breakfast smoothie, mainly because it requires little effort and is tasty as well. It is an easy start to the day and something I don’t even think about. Which is a treat in itself.

  • 2 Bananas - Frozen and Sliced
  • 2 Tablespoon Chia Seeds soaked in 1/3 cup water
  • Handful Sliced fruit in season

  1. Place all in a blender - you might have to add extra Almond Milk if it is too thick until it becomes a good consistency.

  • I believe in soaking chia seeds before youvuse them and i like this recipe its simple.

  • This looks amazing

  • Sounds so yum for breakie!

  • Too easy! I actually have these ingredients right now and I recently got a blender so I might just make this in the morning. Thanks for sharing!

  • Delicious! Thanks for sharing! :D

  • Reckon this is a quick and easy recipe you could make and store in the fridge for a few days!

    • Takes no time to whizz up – you can have all the ingredients ready to go though and then blend freshly. Only takes a minute or so.

  • Nice and healthy way to start the day.

  • Omg be a good breakfast smoothy that’s for sure.

    • It definitely is – one of my favourite breakfasts and still feels like a treat

  • Simple and delicious; thanks for sharing!.

  • I usually use fresh fruit in my smoothies but love the idea of frozen fruit as I’m sure it makes a thicker, more refreshing smoothie!

    • Frozen fruit is great for summer – and also great for getting the kids to love it as well.

  • Delicious and quick too.

  • good on you lara this sounds like my kind of brekky

  • I have banana and almond milk in the cupboard. I love a banana or mixed smoothie and my preference is always for the fruit to be frozen. It needs to be cold and thick.

    • I agree 100% – always have frozen bananas in the freezer and when in season berries and mangoes!

  • Nice! I love smoothies but I don’t like bananas. With mangoes it must be very nice too!!

    • Replace the bananas with mangoes – great swap and would be just as delicious
