Brigadeiros (Brazilian chocolate balls) are a big hit at Brazilian parties. From kids to adults, everyone loves them!

Ingredients (serves 10)

  • 1 can Nestle Condensed Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Chocolate Powder (cocoa)
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 150 grams Chocolate Granules or Coconut Flakes

  1. Place the condensed milk, chocolate powder and butter in a saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, for about 10 minutes or until mixture starts to come away from sides of the pan.
  2. Remove from heat and allow to cool. When cool enough to handle, using your hands, shape mixture into small-sized balls.
  3. Roll in chocolate granules (or coconut flakes), then place in patty cases.
  4. Eat immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

  • Delish! Looks super easy to make too

  • Perfect treat for kids birthday parties.

  • These look amazing. They definitely wouldn’t last long in our house. I imagine they’d be gone in one hit!

  • I’m not sure it would be safe for me to make these. I’m a confessed chocaholic and they wouldn’t last 5 minutes once made.

  • Oh Lordy these sound dangerous ???? – you had me at condensed milk!

  • I never knew these are brazilian, looks so nice.

  • These sound very yummy

  • Wow, this sounds amazing! I love condensed milk so I’m sure this will be such a treat.
We have something similar in our culture but they are small logs and covered in sugar.

  • These are very similar to chocolate truffles.

  • Sounds so sweet
    They must be good

  • This sounds amazing! Like a fudge I would imagine. I think they would be best with the chocolate dollar sprinkles (the coconut would still be good though).

  • Ooh wow, these sound just delicious.

  • sounds delicious! Is it like fudge?

  • These look so yum

  • Loving this so easy and something my children love to eat.
