These Choc Lava Cookies are so very easy and simple to make! Importantly they are a delicious treat!

Ingredients (serves 20)

  • 1 1/3 cup Plain flour
  • 1 cup Caster sugar
  • 1/4 cup Melted butter
  • 1/3 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 TSP Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 2 Eggs
  • Icing sugar to coat


  1. Preheat oven to 175c In a large bowl combine flour, both sugars, cocoa, baking powder, salt and blend. Add butter and blend well.
  2. Add eggs, vanilla and stir until dough comes together. (Best way to do this is with your hands ) Roll into small balls. Roll balls into icing sugar until they are completely coated, shake of excess
  3. Place on baking tray, leaving some room between cookies Cook for 12-15 minutes Let them cool Enjoy

Give these Choc Lava Cookies a go ... even get the kids involved.  The perfect little 'sometimes' treat!
