Ingredients (makes 12 )

  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1 tbl Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1/3 Cup Dried Cranberries
  • 1/3 Cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Cup Rice Bubbles
  • 1/4 Cup Smooth Peanut Butter

Method

  1. In a medium saucepan on medium heat combine honey, peanut butter, maple syrup and butter. Heat it, stirring until smooth and melted. Remove from heat.
  2. Add cereal, oats and cranberries. Stir to combine. Wait 8-10 minutes to allow mixture to cool, and then add chocolate chips. Stir to combine
  3. Spoon into medium-sized muffin cups and put in them into the fridge for about 15 minutes to set.

    • made these and the only problem is that I halved the quantity-really delicious. They do need to be kept in the fridge or they are very soft and crumbly, the fridge firms them up and stops them falling apart.

  • Love the idea of these but will be using sultanas instead of cranberries as not really liked here. Will make some for the adults with cranberries to taste.

  • I love the idea of these but have just recently learnt my son hates Cranberries. I could either leave them out or find a suitable replacement.


    • Best to replace them with something else yummy.
