These meatballs are great! Serve as a snack with toothpicks and dipping sauce or simply add pasta sauce and you have a meal for the family.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 500g mince (whichever type you prefer)
- 1 onion
- 1/2 zucchini
- 4 button mushrooms
- 1/2 chorizo
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 3 large shallots
- pinch salt and pepper
- 1 egg
Method
- In a food processor add the onion, zucchini, mushrooms and chorizo. Blend until finely chopped. Add to the mince.
- Add the minced garlic, salt and pepper to the mince mixture.
- Finely dice the shallots and add to the mixture. Add the egg to the mixture and mix well until combined.
- Fry in pan until golden. Serve as a snack with toothpicks and dipping sauce or add pasta sauce and you have a meal for the family.
