Easy moist banana cake everyone will love


Ingredients (makes 1 loaf size cake)

  • 125g Butter
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 ripe Bananas mashed
  • 1 & 1/2 cup Self-raising flour
  • 1/4 cup Milk

Method

  1. Melt butter with the sugar and vanilla in a medium saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Add mashed bananas and stir through.
  4. Add egg and mix well.
  5. Add flour and milk, then mix lightly
  6. Bake at 170 degrees for approx 40 minutes

  • Banana Cake is a nice treat now and then.

  • This is a practical way to make it as you don’t have to have a circular container to store it in the fridge until it is all eaten. Round containers use more storage space than oblong or square ones
