Quick, easy and very moorish buttercream icing. This is just as brilliant for decorating kids’ birthday cakes as it is for finishing off grown-up treats. The imagination is the limit with what you can do.
Ingredients (serves 12)
- 3 cups Icing sugar
- 1 cup Soft butter
- 1 to 2 teaspoons Flavouring - vanilla
Method
- Whisk butter for approximately 5 minutes until light and fluffy. The colour should become much lighter too.
- Slowly add in icing sugar and whisk for again approximately 5 minutes. Taste a small amount to feel for a smooth texture.
- Add in your flavouring of choice, whisk until combined, and use however you choose! Warning - very moorish!
