Fun fruit snack that is perfect for summer. These fruitsicles taste just like popsicles but are much healthier! Kids will love these.

Ingredients (makes 1 box ful)

  • Variety of fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, grapes, banana, watermelon)
  • Packet of skewers
  • Chocolate (to melt if desired)

  1. Prepare fruit for kebabs - peel wash and cut into bite sized pieces.
  2. Thread fruit onto skewers, put into a freezer proof container and put into the freezer. If desired dip into melted chocolate after a few hours in freezer and then return to freezer to set chocolate.
  3. Enjoy for a summery snack on a hot day.

Great way to use up fruit that is close to being over ripe.

  • I already do this with bananas but never thought about the other types of fruit.

  • What a fantastic idea. I had never considered. And no chocolate even necessary. Could use yoghurt instead.

  • I reckon my son would love this! He lovesssssss berries! I might just have to find something a little safer than the skewers tho
