An easy way to add flavour to your chicken dinner.


Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 6 Chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon or whole seed mustard

Method

  1. Combine the butter, honey and mustard together in a casserole dish.
  2. Add the chicken and coat well in the sauce.
  3. Cook in a preheated oven (180 degrees) for approximately 45 minutes or until done. Baste once, halfway through cooking time.

  • I did this on the stove in a frying pan covered with aluminium foil, turning the chicken halfway and chicken came out perfectly cooked. Made this with the dijon mustard, however I think whole seed mustard would have suited it better (had some dijon in the fridge to be used up). Served it up with steamed broccollini and baby carrots. Very easy dinner to whip up.
