Absolutely delicious served on toast or roti bread that can be eaten for breakfast/brunch or even lunch.
Ingredients (serves 2)
- 1 can baked beans
- Half onion
- 1 tspn cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 1 tspn tumeric powder
- 1 tspn Garam masala
- Half bunch coriander
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Method
- Heat oil. Add chopped onion. Sauté for 2-3 mins until golden
- Add in cumin seeds and stir then immediately add in the ginger garlic paste
- Add in all the spices - tumeric and garam masala. Stir for 30 seconds
- Add can of baked beans and stir.:
- Add 1/3 cup of water and stir through. Simmer on medium for 1-2 mins
- Serve with freshly chopped coriander
