Just a very quick and easy Lebanese sweet that most people love. Only takes about 15 minutes in total.
Ingredients (serves 12)
- 1 cup cornflour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 litre milk
- 300ml thickened cream
- 300g corn flake crumbs
Method
- Cover the bottom of a large baking tray with half of the corn flake crumbs.
- On a stove top, put in the sugar, cornflour, milk and cream and whisk together until it starts to thicken, approx. 10 minutes. You need to keep mixing within this time.
- Once thick, put in the baking tray over the corn flake crumbs.
- Put the rest of the corn flake crumbs over the cream until covered. Refrigerate for about an hour then cut and serve. Delicious and easy
